Adam, in your e-mail you said that a decision would be made by the end of October about the dates of the 2007 Gathering. Could you please tell me who will be making the decision? There has been a lot of comments made in posts about this being the hotest time of the year and every person in the country who has rugrats will be on vacation due to the fact that school is out. Same as the crowded conditions that we had at Pidgeon Forge due to the fact that the kids were out of school. We will also be paying peak season prices. What happened to some of the comments about April, May or after the kids go back to school? Many miles will have to be driven by people with older cars in the heat of summer. Just throwing some things out there for consideration. Butch

Hi Adam.
Talked with some locals near Reno. They say its darn hot in June. Best time they say is April or October. ( Not to sure about snow in the mountains in Oct.) Need to decide soon so people can ask for the vacation time.
Mike
Hey everyone,
My vote is for May. I used to live in Tahoe City and snow in April is not unusual. And while in June it will be hot in Reno, Tahoe is 3,000 ft higher and will be very comfortable. Just don't forget your chains.

Jeff
I agree that April or May would be best. Didn't make PF, but I should be able to make Reno/Tahoe.

I concur with the April/May timeframe others have stated. If it's late June, I may have to reconsider whether or not to go. I don't want a repeat of the Pigeon Forge fiasco - 100 degrees the day we pulled in, streets & attractions extremely crowded, peak season hotel rates, etc.
April or May is good time frame. Keep in mind that Easter and Memorial Day fall in there. We will have to hhave a decision soon because planning takes time and most of us could use as much time as we can get.
