Vette(s): 1972 Coupe Anything, but Stock and more mods to come! SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
I can make some recommendations, but it would be upto the group. For those of you that have not been to bowling green, here are some of the better food places.

Downtown and their price levels
Mariahs $$$ Good food, Love the lettuce Wraps, chicken pot pie, pot roast, and salads. Burgers are good, never had a steak at this location. Wife and I went on our first date here.

440 Main $$$$ Great cozzy Bar, Up Scale food, more of a Louisianna flavor. Love the rack of lamb, nightly chef specials.

Brickyard Cafe $$$ to $$$$
Very good italian and some american food. Don't expect to find a Hamburger here. Love the 4 cheese Lasgna and Stuff portobella mushroom appetizer. Great homemade french style bread. Nightly chef Specials. Never had steaks here. Good seafood dishes. We take business clients here a lot for Lunch. Lunch is usually some specials, with sandwiches, and 8" individual pizzas.

other Local Favorites Out by Mall:
Puerto Valarada (spelling) $$
Mexican food, probably best in town. Highly debated between them and Peppers Mexican.

Toots: $$ to $$$
Great Bar, good looking college girls, video games for kids. Oysters on the half shell, Buffalo wings, ribs, Fried pickle chips, burgers. Mostly served in plastic baskets, just good ole american favorites. Use to be where Bowling Green hosted their weekly cruise In.

Smokey bones: $$ to $$$
We go here a lot with clients to lunch. Good beef Brisket, Good fried Catfish. Great Bar with 35 TV's around restaurant. TV's are numbered so you can select which TV you want to listen to at your table. I've never been disappointed here. This is a franchise, owned by the same people that own olive Garden.

Montana Grill $$$ to $$$$
Great food. Love the Fire bread. Roasted chick is awesome. Great Ribs. Great Steaks.

Rafferty's $$$ to $$$$
Same people who started this restaurant own Montana Grill. Good food. I used to work here many moons ago when I was in College here in town. Love the Backyard burger, and Nachos.

Mancinos - $ to $$
Great baked sandwiches, pizzas and nachos. Never a dissapointment.

Jimmy Johns - Gourmet Sandwiches. Small shop just down from work. way better then subway.

There are lots of other restaurants, but these are some of my more favorites.

Entertainment:
Race World - Go Cart racing - This is a nice place. If you get enough people together and call ahead of time they may give you a group rate. You can ask for Spivey. Maybe they will work with you. I know they help me out from time to time when I decide to take a group of clients out.

Great Escape movie Theater - Has Stadium Seating.

Franklin, KY – Drive in movie Theater , 15min drive from bowling green down I-65. Not far from my home. One of very few left in U.S.

Ottis Golf – Have night time Golf Driving Range. They have clubs and balls that you can use. Also have minature golf course.

Southern Lanes Bowling - Brand new has 34 lanes. Like most new places its been packed on the weekend. So I'm not sure how hard it would be to get lanes during a week day. So I usually bowl at the Crescent bowl. Older place, but they have typical greasy food and cold beer.

Zap Zone - Indoor laser tag. never been here, but looks like fun.

Beech Bend – Not sure if the park is open at night, but they have spent a lot of money and now have a small water park , roller coaster and other carnival type rides.

Not familiar with much of the night life, but there are several places in town got details from one of our single sales guys.
One is Ellis Place (older Crowd) (downtown)
Club Duece (near College, country western, mostly college kids)
JT’s (downtown caters towards college kids)
Betty’s place (just a good bar good mix of crowd)
Good Times – Best night to go Wed, or Thursday, Mostly College oriented.

And of course there is always nashville. Hope everyone has fun

After Sharks places sound good to me. I would go for the 440 Main. The bar and the rack of Lamb are my choices! |thumb| |thumb|

But we do need others to join in this also. |headscratch|

I should be in Bowling Green Wendesday night with another couple. I have no idea what time we will get in. |confusing| But, Thursday would be better for 440 Main. |biggrin|

We'll see how Wendesday goes! |rollysmile|

If you search then internet you might be able to find a website for each Restaurant.

I'm sorry, but I guess they took the Rack of lamb off the menu, their only doing the Lamb medallions.

Is the Santa Fe Cattle Company still in business? |headscratch| Had a good time there with C3VR members who attended the 50th celebration last summer. The place had a good sized parking lot and a nice outside deck. Easy access off the freeway too. |thumb|

I think we should just plan to meet somewhere, like the Country Hearth Inn at a certain time and figure it out from there.

Thoughts?

Yes Santa Fe Cattle company is still open. Just trying to recommend some of the local favs. Certainly up to the group.

I think adams Idea to gather and then go is a good idea so the group can decide. I was just trying to give everyone some ideas of what else is out there.

Another local Fav, especially for breakfast is Teresa's. This is a hole in the wall, homestyle cooking place. Its usually a mad house to get into on the weekend. Lunch is always slammed, but it you like old dinner food this is it. I believe its cash only.

Another hole in the wall is RED'S. As far as I know its still open. Its been a few years since I have eaten there. It use to be two eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuts & Gravy, grit or hashbrowns for $1.99. It was always packed for breakfast.

There is also a new near the center of town that is call the Country Mill. They are doing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I haven't heard anything

There is also the BBQ Inn and Donitas, both are just down from Holley. I here they are good for breakfast in the morning as well. And they are always packed morning noon and night.

Don't expect to find a non-smoking section at any one of these these places.
