Can one of the local guys who knows the Hot Springs restaurants make arrangements for a social hour/dinner on Wednesday night. If the host hotel can do that, fine. If there is a better, casual, non-national chain place that can accomodate us, and has great food, even better.

Then we can see who will be there in time to Party Hardy.

OK Gang, we are going to eat dinner Wednesday night at Cajin Boilers at 7:00 PM. It is located across from our host hotel, so you don't need to drive.

For those who arrive early and would like to partake, there will be a HAPPY HOUR in the Lake Hamilton Resort (our official host hotel) lounge from 5:00 to 6:45 PM. Reservations are not required.

Anyone know anything about "Cajun Boilers"?  They seem to have a bit of something for everyone on their dinner menu.

How about "Patty's on the Lake"?
Papa Pablo's Mexican Cafe?
Whistle Stop?

All seem to be very close to our host hotel.

Cajun Boilers sounds great, I love seafood, especially cajun.  Also, it looks like it is right next door to the hotel, easily within walking distance.  Don't think I'll feel like riding anymore that day after coming 425 miles.

There is a mexican restaurant close to the Minature Golf place that has outside seating if the weather permits.  Great margaritas and the food is good as well.

The also have a large inside area but I can't remember the name.  JD, any idea where I am talking about & it's proximity to the hotel?

Do you mean "Papa Pablo's Mexican Cafe" that I referenced above?

Might be.  I can't remember.  All I know is where (roughly) it was.  I thought JD might know.

Looks like Patty's is across the street from the hotel and might be good for breakfast some mornings.
I don't see a dinner menu or if they can accomodate a large group.
Keep looking.
We'll be there for a few days!
