Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
Well it is officially started. besides Mark pace car not making the trip, thanks for bringing the support truck, it sounded like there were no other issues.  Eric and I, with dee-dee, started the caravan south, picking up john and carol, mark and karla.  then we had bob join us as we drove by. in the portland area we picked up mike and karen, a little further down the road we added steve and dave w.  then on the other side of the mountains we had glen and julia, norky, and wally added to the crew. the ten vettes drove into bend with only a few minor scenic turn arounds, the shilo is not located on the 18th green surrounded by fancy homes, go figure.  I HAVE NO PICTURES, some one will post theirs.

Shilo has been very accommodating with coning off parking area, car wash station with towels,  The meet and greet dinner did not have as many people show up as those that signed up, so we fell a little short on the tab, per booked head count, but let me just say what a great group of people we have in this family, all it took was to mention the facts about the bill and everyone came through to cover the debt, this group never stops amazing me.  So at the meet and greet we have a very nice spread of salad, green beans, baked chicken, and roast beef.

We played a few games, had some laughs, made a few jokes, gave away some very expensive prizes.

today we drove up the cascade loop hiway, made a few stops for a kodak moment or two, had a group from the high dessert corvette club join us on the drive, guessing 25-30 corvettes in all.  then Mike led us down to the lake into a dead end road (this raod was covered up with snow the last time he was here so he did not know he picked the wrong turn) so there were all of these corvettes in a dead end road trying to turn around, it was beautiful.

Then it was up to the mt. bachelor ski area, where we had planned a ride up the mountain on a ski lift, with a private buffet waiting for us on top, wish you could all have been with us, I know there will be pictures posted that will just amaze you.  Mt. bachelor had a professional photo dude available for us, so he lined us up as a group and took some really great shots of all the corvettes with the mountain in the back ground, oh did I mention the 7 state patrol cars that we got the pose in the picture with all the vettes, with there lights on....

After that we left in a stagged time and the photo guy took a shot of each vette as we drove by him with the mountian in the back ground, awesome...

Then it was down into the down area to get to the local brewery, which I did not go on the private tours so I have nothing to report from that part of the day, all I can say is that we get a little screwed with the round abouts, the other cars, and our own crew, Mark did a great job of blocking traffic so we could at least all get onto the road together.

That is all I have to report for now.
Mike will not take any credit but he has done a great job.  Jotn the tree farmer, made a nice printout for mike and i and had everyone at the meet and greet sign it, I cried like a girl (not really)
