Jack Daniels Distillery is right down the road from NCM. You won't have to worry much about the sampling of the wares from the trip either. Oddly enough the distillery is located in a dry county. It is a nice little day trip though.
But George Dickell is in a wet county and not too far away either. I have been to Jack Daniels and thought it was a great little tour. I went with my brother who lives in Germany and they recognized some of the workers from television commmercials. That was funny to me as I had no idea who any of them were.

Admission:
Admission and tasting is free.

Looks like a pretty good place to go also. I had no idea how far JD's place was from BG. I am not a big drinker but this is one trip I will make just to see how it is made. Then I may have to sample a little.

Speakers!

We need some guest speakers... a big name or two... like Dave McLellan or something.

There will be a charge for us being we are bring a group. The event should cost around $20 for NCM Members and Non-NCM Members will be $30.

This DOES cover the cost of food at Kurtz Resturaunt and the tip, NCM Guide.

Thanks!

Adam

What I would NOT like to see is whatever that was for the BBQ dinner. For the money that costs I expected a lot better quality of food.

That was, in the words of Al Czervik "Low grade dog food"

This is the first negative I heard on it..or did we have something else?

If I recall correctly, it was not great... but the biggest problem I had with it was that there was not enough for seconds of the main course and not enough desert for everyone to have even one serving of it.
