I would like to make contact with any west coast Corvettes that are planning to drive to the 2006 gathering on the east coast sometime in 2006. Cilrah, 1 BadLT1, Corvette427, SunCountry and so on. I will ship my Corvette in an Ocean Container from Alaska to Tacoma, Washington from there I will head cross country to the gathering, God willing and the hope that gas prices are not above $4.00 per gallon. I would like to cruise the interstates with other corvettes if possible, Safety in numbers? Maybe that will draw attention and not be a good idea? Maybe I should drive at night and sleep in the day? Anyway my Email address is: spielman5@gci.net  Let's get going this will be a great adventure for me.. Bar Harbor Maine, that's on the other side of the world, come on people lets make this fun, I don't want to come out of Alaska and go someplace where they have bad weather?  Drop me a line let's take the old USA by storm..he he.. Damn Terry that does sound like fun but theres no way in the world I'll be driving to the east coast this summer   I'd be interested in getting to gether for some wings and a brew at Hooters in Tacoma or something when you get the Vette outta the crate though

Are you headed to Bar Harbor?  I lived outside of Bar Harbor for a summer one year, actually Deer Isle, Maine.  What a beautiful area you'll love it

Mark, I'll let know when I'll be there. No, I hope the members don't pick Bar Harbor., I'm praying it's less in distance, like Indianapolis. I hope there are some West Coast Vettes that will travel to the meet. Norsky,  Sorry you won't be traveling, I would like to meet you, pack your wife up and get your car ready, we'll take it nice and slow. I told my wife when the car sound gets to her I'll  stop at the next airport put her on the next plane and fly her in.  I for one like the sound of newly installed side exhaust. spielman538698.9676967593

Indy would be kinda tempting for me, but I still don't think I'd be able to drive that far. It's a work scheduling thing more then anything

Thats funny cause my wife didn't wanna drive all the way to Vegas in my truck last spring for "Mopars at the Strip" so I flew her in

Larry, got your email and I will keep in touch. I'm like you just a driver, but, for a 6000 mile trip you need to ready the car. We have time. Next we have until 12/23/2005 to influence the meet location. We have to VOTE. Indianapolis will be the shortest drive, O 'yea short drive? I have 6 weeks of Vacation. I'm going, even if it is by myself. This will be an adventure, let's go. There must be other Corvettes that would like to travel across the USA? We need to work on that, even if mid west or central vettes hook up along the way, Something to tell the Grandkids. Corvettes are to drive, look at it this way, 3 or 4 Sunday drives to get there and the same to get back?....Terry

Wish I too could make the haul, but don't think it's possible this year.

I'm willing to work on a mini meet somewhere in the west

Of course this is going to have to happen when the weathers a bit more friendly
