I'm curious...
What was your FAVORITE moment or activity from the 2011 Gathering?
Mine would be the "Moonshine Cruise"
(Although watching Dave dance with those big glasses is a close 2nd!)

Seeing all my "olde" friends and meeting "newe" friends !
second - the resulting face on those that went for a "ride".
I would say the lunch and chat at the Yeager's home was lasting, I did wonder when it rains if the candles in the glass holders on the fireplace mantel fill with water??
Ya know I also would say the Autocross was a blast, darn red C-4..Terry

The gatherings just get better and better..

For sure Yagers home and the hospitality shown to us, his chat was quite inspiring. Also the part of the awards that he talked to the veterans and teared up. Truly an amazing human being.

Moonshine Cruze was the tops for us....even after getting lost on the way back(I STILL here banjos playing...)....and even after discovering they didn't actually sell MOONSHINE there...
...what a tease... Did get some t-sherts, tho! The drive was a bit slow, and had a bit too much gravel road travel, and seems I was the ONLY one to get an "award" from the Moonshine Dog...
It was still fun!
Overall, we had a pretty gud time. Mike and Team did a great job.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I'm still trying to decide what my favorite moment was, but I can tell you my least favorite one. That will come tomorrow morning around 7:30 or 8:00am when I have to go back to that four letter word. Anyone have a multi-million dollar winning lottery ticket you're not using?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I forgot about the "Moonshine Dog" that "picked" your car. I wonder if anyone got a picture of that.
