Hi!
I am looking for a set of detailed drawings showing all XYZ dimensions of a 1971 Corvette frame. Does anyone know where to find such drawings ?
In case it matters, the car is a convertible, big block, stick shift.

I have a fairly good engineering drawing for the '74, but not sure how many measurements it has...I can look and see later.
A good place to look/ask would be a body shop, or frame alignment shop, as they have all of this info, sometimes on disc, sometimes as a book.
Maybe someone here has other info on it, too.

I have an assembly manual I got from from Corvette America. The frame is shown but very few dimensions. Call Al at An American Classic. http://www.anamericanclassic.com/index.html

He does full restoration on Vettes. He may be able to help you. He doesn't respond to his emails much, so I would give him a call. He's a great guy. "T"
My local body shop asks me for it: It's a very good one, but located in France. Not much documentation about vintage Corvette's around here. Does more Ferrari's than Corvette's.
Got an answer from "An American Classic": He doesn't have it.
Thanks for the lead on e-bay. I am trying to figure out whether it has really got more dimensions than the drawing from the assembly manual.

Gotta agree with T here.... Primarily because we have been to this shop and know Al Wagner has such items. He worked for GM and brought many of them with him upon departure.
He uses alot of this stuff in his business as he restores vintage collectible Corvettes.
If you call him tell him you are a member of the C3VR Registry group.

I checked what I have, and it really doesn't offer much other than overall length, height, and ground clearance at several points...
I also just looked at the e-bay link above....I think this is exactly what you're looking for! The "sample" looks just like what I used to use on the frame machine when I worked at a body shop in the late '70s...
