Ok, so I'm trying to mount my front grills.
I have the lower brackets mounted for the RH and LH grills.
Now , I'm trying to figure out how to mount the small brackets at the top.
Also, how do you mount the center grill?
I believe I have all the brackets required.
If anyone has any pictures of how they are supposed to mout, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Dang...no-one here got a '68-'69 AIM to help? We gotta help get this car back on da road!
I'm not familiar enough with the early cars to give any info on da grill mounts. I'll look and see if I have any pics anywhere, tho.

Hey Joel,
Thing is I looked in the books and manual, I have all those, but when it comes done it, it dosent make sense when i try to mount the brackets.
I can't mount the upper outside brackets or the center brackets.
Things just wont go together.

I am hoping someone out there can take some pictures of how they mount.
Till then , I'm just gonna keep guessing.
Joe
Hey Joe. Not sure if this will help, but this is what I have for my7t1. "T"

Terry,
thanks for that.
The brackets for a 68 are different.
I have the assembly manual but text book and real life seem to differ,
thus my need for help. You would think that after building this monster from scratch that I could figure out how to mount a couple of brackets!

in fact my grille came out of a 68 and I had to buy new 69 brackets.
I do have the set of 68 brackets in case you need them including these little goofy ones that seemed to connect the center grille to the headlight assemblies.

HAH HAH !!!!!
Ben , you just gave me the answer !!!!!!!!!

I do not have flip up headlights !!!!!!
I have bucket headlights that are not installed yet.
This answers the question why I can't find where they mount !
Now the next question is.... how am I going to mount the center grill?

I may just may have to make my own brackets .
Just for kicks, does anyone have a photo of them?
Thanks,
Joe

I actually am talking with the guy I bought my car from. He says he has a set of 69 brackets. So I may get them from him or I may just make my own .
It will determine how soon he can get them to me.
I would still like to see the photo if you could.
Thanks.
