Hey all,

I would like to remove the louvers (I think that is what they are called, little grills just behind the front wheels) to get them re-chromed.

Anyone know what is involved in this?

There should be two screws that you can see when looking directly at it. The third screw is located under the car. It comes straight up from the bottom. If my memory serves me right, you then tilt out the top and pull it out.

The one on the bottom is not a screw but a threaded shaft that is usually anchored by an alumuinm speed nut. Be careful when removing so you don't scratch the paint. I remove the speed nut first then each screw seperatly while placing pressure on the grill. Then you can carefully remove without scratching the paint.
