Vette(s): 1973 coupe Under Construction
I had to replace the rear taillight panel on my 73, the old one had been repaired with some really shoddy work a couple of times and was not worth salvageing.
I bought a replacement from Paragon and after alot of work got it fit and bonded in place.
The problem I have is that there are not even any dimples for the CORVETTE letters.
Does anyone have a template for where to drill these holes to at least get them close?

Since the 73 has the chrome rear bumper, will it be the same placement as a 72?

I think So
On my '72, the letters are 3/4 apart. The "C" is 3 3/4 inches from the center of the taillight on the driver's side, and the "E" is 3 3/4 inches from the taillight on the passenger's side. The entire row is 2 1/2 inches above the top of the chrome license plate holder. When you have them all lined up, the right side of the "V" is just about directly centered under the keyhole for the alarm.
Hope that helps.
