I guess this is the right place for this. The hood lauch handel is kinda loose. I haven't had the car long enough to sort out some little things. The man I got the car from knows how to do it and so does his 16 year old son. I'm supposed to pull on the handel and use my other hand to hold the bracket. I can only get the drivers side to pop open. Is there a way to get the other side open? I can't seem to be able to do the trick.

So...the bracket that holds the cable is loose? If that is the problem, seems like the bracket needs to be fastened properly....sounds simple, I know, but...I ain't looking at it, so I can't say why the bracket is loose.
Is it broken, or something?
Is the cable binding up so much that it pulls the bracket loose? You may need a new cable, as well as repairing the bracket.
The side-side cable for the hood release, under the hood, is adjustable, so if one side is releasing, and the other isn't, that may be the problem.
From the sound of it, since they other guy can open it "if ya hold yer mouth just right", it sounds like the bracket is just not fastened solidly....

Got the AIM? AIM helps. It shows the installation of the release cable bracket in the car and the crossover cable on the cowl. Also has a note on the correction installation of the crossover cable and adjustment.

While you're under the hood, check the stop on the release cable on the driver's latch. You want to tighten it up (shorten the cable) if it has slipped. With that done, when you pull the hood release in the car, the latch will open fully and the hood will pop open like it should.
