I need to replace the rear hatch weatherstrip.  I have purchased the reproduction weatherstrip and it is not the same as the original.  It appears that the rubber needs to be folded in half in order to get it to sit down properly into the channel.  Does anyone have any experience with installing one of these?  Am I missing something.  Also, appears that I need to attach one side into the front corner and then attach the other corner in order to stretch the rubber from one corner to the other across the top area.

Thanks for your help.

I haven't done it on the CE. If it's anything like the one on my '85, it's not too bad of a job, except that weatherstrip is one piece...and there's no way to install it without removing the back glass....unless you cut cut the weatherstrip. Angry

Hopefully someone with a CE will chime in with some tips. Thumbs Up
