My hood is about 1/4 higher in the front than the rest of the body a friend told me that most likely the radiator support is at fault. I dont see a way to adjust the hood down. How hard is it to replace the radiator support. I plan to pull the motor to freshen it up and while its out I thought it may be a good time to attack that. Is it a bolt in thing or something that involves fiber glass work?

I had the same thing on a 68 I had. There is a brace that goes from the frame cross member to the center of the nose between the headlights. This brace is adjustable up and down slightly as it is actually two peices held together near the center by a couple of bolts. Use caution making this adjustment as it was meant to be adjusted prior to paint on fresh undamaged fiberglass. You should be ok if you are gentle with it. This should get your hood to align with the nose.

Thanks
The support in my car has been rigged it looks like during the repair after this rubbed its nose in an accident. The guy I bought the car had 17K in recipts from a CORVETTE specialist type garage and I have redone almost all his work. I hope his kids are through school and he lowers his prices or pays more attention to what he's doing. Thanks for the tip
