I need help finding a cat.company that sells body parts and body supports. I need to replace three parts in the front of my 71. One is a brace that goes to the front crossmember from between the headlights. The other two are strap like pieces that go from the lower valence to that same crossmember. I don't know what they are called and would like to find a cat. that would show them so I could make the buy
any help to buy new or used would be appreciated.

Vette(s): 1971 coupe, 270 hp, auto, air. 43K original miles. All original.
A.I.M. is the Assembly Instruction Manual. Is is essentially the "blueprints" to put a corvette together. Each piece is labeled and numbered with the original GM part number. When calling a parts company or a junkyard this number is sometimes helpful.
For 25 bucks it can be the most valuable part in any restoration.
Good luck.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
My daughter bought the AIM for my 79 for my birthday. She went above and beyond and got me sheet protectors for the pages as well. Problem...The darn 3 ring binder isn't thick enough to accomodate the sheet protectors so I have to get a thicker one from work.
Also found it curious that she bought the whole manual from Corvette Central and wouldn't you know it all the pages have MADirect printed on them?
Corvette Central was less expensive though! Great information contained in this essential "tool". I suggest everyone get one.

I got mine from Zip Corvettes and it also has MId America as the manufacturer. I also seem to be missing a few pages, is this at all common?
