well the removal was pretty easy I did forget the seat belt anchors but that was no biggie.
I had one small wound stabed myself cutting the string that was holding up my transmission
My body dolly isnt exactly perfect either but it will work!
found my vin stamp and I can see part of my frame stencil
and I hope to find some more treasures.

OkIm going to fix this later..

Johnny, can you tell us a little bit about what you found? Any surprises? Photo of where the stencil is to be, etc. We want to know the real stuff. Nice photos.

well here is the vin stamp, it is located fwd of the drivers side rear wheel on top of the frame.
The frame assy date is fwd or the pass side rear wheel its on the side of the frame upside down.
I also found my front spring stickers, I have the standard BB suspension, And on my body I found 272 writen so that was the cars number as it rolled down the line that day.
I removed the tow strap I had on there and replaced it with some chain I bought at lowes worked out alot better I needed to gain some hight on the lift because I didnt leasure the lift straps so you will see I added some wood to the legs of the lift. If you build one like this make sure you measure the straps you get to see if you have enough room to raise the body above your frame, and so it will go high enough to clear your body dolly.
I say at lest 12-13 feet would be a good high from the bottom of the 6x6 the chain is wraped around.

Johnny,
I have a favor to ask of you. Please make smaller versions (no larger than 400 pixels wide) of your pictures and use them as hot links to the larger ones. Many members (myself included) don't have access to high speed internet connections and large images take forever to download. Also some folks use a smaller screen resolution (640x480) and large images really blow the page view out of whack big time.
Here's how to make a smaller image a hot link to a larger one. Replace all ? (question marks) with | (vertical bars).
?URL=http://BigImageFilePathAndName??IMG?http://SmallImageFilePathAndName?/IMG??/URL?
To see how it works just click on the image of " The Toy" below.
All of us on dial-up connections thank you...!!!
