Has anyone out there replaced there body mounts on a 69-72 vette with the 73+ rubber body mounts?
I am about to do the deed and would think the newer rubber mounts would isolate the frame and body to prevent ratteling.
I am going to do a side at a time and will be lifting the body just enough to change the mounts. Any tips would be appreciated.

Jim,
I know I've seen more than just this one thread on body mounts (Body Mount Question) but I can't seem to find them via the Search engine at the moment. It is a task on my list of things to also so if I find the other threads I'll post links to them here.
(btw - looks like you live in a fun neighborhood based on what is in the driveway across the street - are there more "toys" like that or like yours nearby?)

I have the article from a magazine on how to do it if you would like a copy. Pictures aren't very good but it does have a good write up. send me a E-mail if you want it.

Thanks for the help! I removed the mounting bolts this weekend and after a slight raising, I decided to take the body off and do this puppy right! The frame will need some work so here I go off into uncharted waters.
More questions to follow I'm sure!
