One of my projects this winter is to rechrome the front bumper. It's in good condition on the outside, but the inside has some pitting/surface rust (takes NCRS judging hits). Rear bumpers are A-OK.
Can anyone make a recommendation? Will take a look at Hemmings for available services in my area (St. Louis).
Any tips would also be appreciated.

I've been told the best is Paul's Chrome Plating in Pennsylvania. Their web address is <http://www.paulschrome.com/>.
I've seen their work. An acquaintance had the trim and bumpers from his '62 Lincoln 4-door convertible done by Paul's and it was flawless...very expensive but flawless. Even the way they packed and shipped the parts back was impressive and a testament to the care they gave the parts.
I'm sure there are other quality platers, but I've seen Paul's work. Whomever you go with, let everyone here know and whether you're pleased with the work.
