After replacing the weather stripping on both the body and t tops I still notice a great deal of wind noise and some water leakage from the top of the windows. I have adjusted the glass to fit when the door is closed and the window is up so that a business card grabs when trying to pull it through the gap. The problem of course is that at speed, the suction of the wind pulls the glass away from the weather stripping. What I want to do is to install a couple of metal clips at the top of the windshield and body pillar posts to hold the glass in tight. The little rubber wedgie on the T top strip simply is too weak to do the job. Question is - where to find them ? I think any car/year/model/make will do but all the ones I have checked into are incorporated into the weather strip. If anyone knows of a source where they can be procurred - please let me know !!! |bouncy|

I have 2 metal clips that the weatherstrip "lays into" on my pillars. Holds my glass in there OK.
