i like the Meguiars stuff.. first the cleaner with the clay and after that the wax.. perfect and long lasting result

i always hated the turttle wax... make the car shine for a week and after that the shine fades quickly.. and car looks worse then before the waxing

Remember it is allways better to start with the less agresive stuff first.I have some extra fine rubbing compound that I find works great at the kind is application you need.Don't force the buffer, let it do the work, stay away from creases and fender lines ect.The paint is very thin there.Do small areas at a time and DON'T hurry. A good SLOW speed buffer and some experience will make the job quicker but if you are not sure of yourself do put the buffer down and do the job by hand. And yes the clay bar might be all you need and that goes back the my first sentence.zgator2007-04-08 10:44:20

[/QUOTE] You might be right on this.I make the compairsion on a steel body car that I use the finest compound know to man, almost polish and I use it on small oxy spots and usuing it by hand I've had no problem.now that I've had a chance to think it over I can't remember useing it on my Vette. Now I will say that I've had many years experience useing compounds. I do not recomend it to a noviceOuchzgator2007-04-09 16:17:46
