Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Everyone that has an 1982 Collector Edition has or had a stuck rear window. I just got an email form the guy that makes replacement hinges. He is about to make more but to get on the list you need to pay for them first. He only makes a batch about once each year so this is your only chance for the next 12 or so months. Let me know if you want his email and I will forward it.
By the way they work wonderful. It is an easy installation. I do recommend two guys but one can do it. It is just easier with a buddy to help you with the glass.
Cost $330. He does not sell to dealers so if you are one do not bother to ask for his email. This is done to help other CE owners not to make a living.
