Hey I have a dent on the top passenger side cross frame. Is it suppose be there ?

I can't see anything that looks out of the ordinary in the pic. The top of the frame does have an indentation in that area. It was put there originally when they started putting big blocks in...they just left it like that on all of them.

The place I am referring to is if you look at the three holes on the right far hole there is a black area thats is where the dent is. I will get a better picture.

I've enlarged the pics, and it still looks like a normal frame to me. I think it's ok.

Looks "factory" to me.
Sometimes, the factory workers would have to "modify" frames to get things to fit properly. It is well documented that they took sledge hammers to the frames in certain areas.
Your pic doesn't look like a hammer mod...it looks more like a normal die stamp. It's too nice and smooth for a Bubba job...

Ok that sounds good to me. Thanks for your time. I am sure once I start putting the suppension together we will be talking. I just sent my steering box off to Ekclers to be rebuild. the first week in July I will be buiyng the upper A-arms so by the end of July I should be starting to put the front end back together.
