Makes me feel a bit better, but I'm dangerous to cars in reverse! My Dad's 90 Camry lost its passengers side mirror very soon after I started driving, stalled in reverse in the garge, and WHAMMO! NO more mirror, three years later I almost repeated the trick with the driver's side mirror, but got luck..1 more inch...!! Then the dor on my Corvette, my house is going to have a clear span garage without that d#$& wall segment in the middle!!

I've seen it done, as long as neither one was a Vette its all ok LOL
Good Mustang Story! :) Buddy of mine had a 60s or 70s drop top Mustang. Couple of us were in the car at a 7-11. Brand new mustang drop top with 4 very attractive women in it pulls up, so he decides to show off and floors it in reverse to leave the parking lot. Slams his car straight into a lightpost! The rest of us laughed hysterically and he just about died. :) High school was great. This kid wrecked more cars than I've driven! LOL

Vette(s): 1974 CORVETTE, WHITE ON BLACK LEATHER. CAR HAD BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE FOR THE PAST 9 YEARS AND ORIGINALLY WAS BOUGHT IN HAWAII AND STAYED THERE UNTILL 1994. THE ENGINE WAS MODIFIED IN HAWAII. IT HAS THE STOCK WHEELS, PAINT AND INTERIOR.
Been there. In 1984 I bought a 1976 very nice Stingray in Alabama and drove back to Wash. State. My EX-WIFE got mad I guess and BACKED her 1977 Lincoln MK V into the side of my Vette and I was not parked behind her, I was off to the left on the street so she had to back out of the garage across the front lawn and WHAM! Do you understand why I say EX-WIFE? I am now remarried and I have gone through 10 Vettes since 1974.

I went from a '63 T-bird to a '69 vette, been calm ever since.
Actually, I spend just as much time underneath both, it's just that a chevy is a lot easier to work on.
And, come to think of it, that first statement really isn't true at all, the heart rate in the vette is much higher than the 'Bird.

Hey Scot, I dont know a whole lot about them other than they are a kick to drive!! The one in particular that I should have kept was my 67 roadster 427/435 with factory side exhaust and both tops. It was in beautifull shape and I bought it in 1971 for $2,500.00 and sold it a year later for $2,750.00 I was really thinking I was a good business man making $250.00 and driving it for a year. Man do I wish I had it back
What questions did you have in mind? Their are a lot more knowledgable owners on this forum than me but I will do my best.

I went from a 1971 Boss 351 Mustang to a 1967 Vette and after I got rid of the Vette in 1972
I have gone through many more cars including 8 more Vettes, now I have my 10th and I might even get 1 more. The only reason I RESCUED this one is that I just as well as stold it. The person that had it let it set for 9 years and knew nothing about the car, it is a 74 coupe and I took some numbers down and told him that I would get back to him, turns out that the motor is out of a 1970 Vette LT-1 350/375 so I wandered back over to his house and asked if he would be interested in trading title for title for a 1985 Fiero GT and he agreed
