How east is it to fix my passenger side door,& keep it from swinging shut?Sounds like a bad spring?Who suppplies them?Do I need any "special" tools? Thanks

Are you supposed to be able to reach it w/o takin' the door off.Doesnt seem like much room? |biggrin|

Vette(s): 1974 Convertible - Unrestored, numbers matching Corvette.
Buy a new spring and the special tool that is available from most Vette catalogs. The instructions are included with the tool. Once you get it figured out you can replace a broken spring in seconds with just the twist of the wrist and a tap of a hammer. Its a piece of cake ... and no you don't have to remove the door.
