I have finished the interior and the weatherstrips. The passanger side window adjusted just fine however the drivers side has proven to be a bear. I have it adjusted as musch as I can however I still have a gap upper forward. Looking at both doors it looks like the gap in the cowl area of the drivers door is larger than it is on the passanger side. Is this an adjustment I can make in the drivers Door. I opened the door and tried to wiggle and as there is none I'm thinking the hinge pins are OK. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

The gap between the front fender and the door in the cowl area would have no bearing on the door window/weatherstrip fit. The front body mount is on the front of the cowl, where the door hinges are bolted.
You could adjust the door itself to get the proper fittment of the window seal, but...you need to pay attention the the fitting of the rear of the door, to the body panel there, also. You may be able to raise the front of the door enough to accomplish your goal, without disturbing the rear door edge/body lines.
Adjusting the doors is a big pain. Similar to adjusting the door glass. Move one adjustment here, screw up all of the rest of them!
Time and patience are required, as well as a helper.

Thanks for the reply Joel. Here is my problem.

I can not get the glass agusted so It does not either slap the body in the upper rear or dig into the weatherstrips in the lower front. If I get the window adjusted so it follows the molding along the windshield its too high in the rear and when you adjust that out it will not go all the way up.. The passanger side was a snap and the only thing I can find different in the two was this gap in the door. Any advice would be appreciated.
