How hard is it to replace the driver's side window in a 77?
I'm not a master mechanic by any means but I do have basic common sense (Or I seem to think so, lol). Was wondering before I try and do it, how difficult is it?
Manual, or power? Either one is not an easy job, but manual is easier...adjustments are basically endless, even if you mark all of the bolts before starting!! Small hands, and extreme patience are a plus. I would HIGHLY recommend getting the Factory Service Manual if you do not already have one.

Thank you, Its power window.
I installed Factory power windows in my '73 and I remember besides learning a few new words, that I managed to incur a lot of small lacerations on my appendages.
I suspect replacing the glass would not be nearly as difficult because it would just involve detaching the old glass and sliding it up and out and reversing the procedure for the new glass.

Wilcox Corvette has a video on working on the door, replacing the glass and replacing the window motor. I found it to be a big help. Also check the You tube videos. Good Luck and be patient, the hardest part will be adjusting the window after it is installed. Marking the bolts positions for the adjustments before you start will give you good starting points for your adjustments, Taking pictures before you start can help also.
