My 77 has the alarm switch in the LH fender. The cover or cap is missing. I have a really nice Stingray cap (from some previous year), but it won't fit on the flange on the switch. This is a minor item but I am having trouble finding the correct part in any of the on-line catalogs. Any ideas?

I am not totally sure , but a friend of mine also has a 77, we repainted quite a few years ago, and I never remember there being a cover, I do remember the key socket, but no cover. Like I said I could be mistaken, or it could have been removed by the previous owner. Good luck, I'm sure there are people here that WILL give yo the correct answer, not a guess.

I think all it should be is the key insert just like a trunk lock ( on a car with a trunk that is ) or the key inserts on your doors. ( no cover ).
Thanks, you both are no doubt correct. I have books with pictures of that vintage Corvette and it seems that there is a cover plate over the switch, but maybe I am just seeing things. Or the pictures are blurry. Appreciate the responses.
