I can't think of a better color than the blue you selected.  But then, I may be a bit prejudiced.

You might give uhaul a call about the electric brake as I do believe you have to have it to use the trailer.  Hauled my vette from New Jersey to Houston, Texas with one a few years ago.  The trailer is very heavy and will reallly put the Yukon to the test.  I have an Envoy I use to tow my vette.  You will use gas.  Also, be sure to have them show you how to set the electric brake properly so you don't (a) have it so sensitive it locks the brakes up with the slightest touch or (b) not come on in a timely manner and have the trailer "Push" you exactly when you don't want to be "Pushed."

Best of luck!!!

don't know about the uhaul trailers but some trailers have a hydraulic brake on them. it is built in to the hitch on the trailer. if it is electric it shouldn't be hard to adjust. as you said just take your time and you should do great. i might be looking into one for my 1990 as soon as allstate decides to pay me as i might be taking it up to north jersey to a body shop up there to get fixed. my sister knows the guy and says he does awesome work. btw...blue is an excellent color for a c3.

Good luck with it Paul, it should come out great!
I had a U-Haul trailer once and it had a hydraulic surge controller on the hitch coupler, you did not need a controller on the truck. Ask the U-Haul guy.
Have fun,
Dave

In case it's not obvious to everyone, I'd like to mention that it's extremely dangerous to tow a vehicle mounted back wards on a trailer. Something about weight distribution. A little over a year ago, in the Sacramento area I believe, a fellow bought a vette and went to pick it up with wife and children along. The vette being very low in the front was scraping the ramp while trying to load on to the trailer so he backed it on. I'm not entirely sure of the details but on the highway something happened to cause the trailer to fishtail and the ensuing accident took the lives of the entire family. Be careful out there.

Update:

Uhaul car carrier worked out flawlessly. Towed great with the Yukon and almost forgot I had the car behind me a few times!!

Now for the real fun: the Lukester was DA'd with 150, then 220 and wet sanded with 400 and then 600. Some minor body repair included as well as some birdcage repair and a new windshield. All that in 3 days. Tomorrow we mask, epoxy seal and paint!!!

I can't belief the day is finally here. No computer to attach pics right now but will post some when I return home tv NJ next week. She's looking GOOD!!!! Stay tuned

Paul
