Vette(s): 1971 T-top. I just had car shipped from my parents house in florida where it has sat for over 12 years..It is going to be a long project!

Well after sanding for a few hours I deceided to send frame to be blasted and coated.  I found a place here in the Phoenix area that said they would do it for $375.  That included some other parts like A-arms.  This sounded a bit inexpensive, of course I didnt tell him that.  Is that a good price for this???  Is powerder coating better than a coating like Por 15???

BTW, you can fit a corvette frame in the back of a small pick up!!  This was loaded by my wife and I alone...

Are you douing the frame off your self?  Did they do any "acid treatment" after the blasting?  Who will do the powder coat or painting?  I am about to tackle the project...Any pictures on the removal of body?  Any tips?  Things I should be aware of?  What did you put the body on?  Any kind of "rack"?  thanks ,bob acre

Yes I am trying to do as much of it myself as I can...and I don't really know what I am doing...learn as I go..and ask a lot of questions here.  I am working on web site for progress but it is not done yet.

CTHULHU and a few other here have them up and running.  Look under all the list and you will find other threads and links.

Here is a pic of my rack and hoist...(hoise= large chain wrapped around rafters in attic of garage.
