I just replaced my hood on my 1979 and was wondering if any one would be interested in the old one. If not I'm just going to trash it. There is a crack on the drivers side and the hood looks like its been repaired before. the paint is gone on most of it. It could be salvaged with some time and fiberglass. I live in wheaton which is a western suburb of chicago. you'll need to pick it up. - Tom

How about the wiring and the hood light? Still on there?

i don't have the skill to restore it but the lighting hardware is gone from my car.

I don't know if it is, but I can imagine that it wouldn't be too difficult to rig up something similar.

If you want to rig one for function, all you need is a socket with a mercury switch. This can be purchased from NAPA. Then run a constant power wire with in line fuse, and a ground wire. It won't look factory, but will work.

Was that even an option on you 75, Scot? I don't have it on my '76 but I thought it just wasn't an option back then.

Anyone know for sure? |headscratch|
