Vette(s): 1972 mille miglia red corvette convertible. This is a car currently under restoration. The pic above is of me and my Ph.D. candidate daughter. She, not my Vette, is my pride and joy. Smile...
Paint job coming. And my chrome front bumper has a crease in it and needs to be re-chromed or replaced. I'm tempted to replace due to lower cost. Any suggestions? Who makes the best new bumpers for the cost?

Maybe use restoration chrome.com or paragon for re-chroming? Ogden Chrome does an AWESOME job. (And for about $100 more than buying a new bumper with lesser quality chrome.) But I'm not prepared to rechrome front and rear in show-quality chrome right now. Is it better to go ahead and put awesome chrome in the front and leave the back as-is right now? Would that look really bad?

Next. I understand removing the front bumper is a PITA. What is the process for removing the bumper? Thanks!
