I am replacing a broken front bumper cover on a recent project car. I have a 75' with pieces missing. I bought the car as is. I see a multitude of options for new/used covers. What is best,easiest to install? THANKS to all who respond.

Heh Mark, Redwing or one of the RED members just had some photo's up of his nose before and after repaint. Not sure if he used a replacment thou.

The three primary options are: Original urethane - recommended only for judged correct cars due to high price and sagging; Fiberglass - recommended only for customs; and Tru-Flex - recommended for all the rest of us. Tru-Flex is soft enough to flex in a minor contact, but stiff enough to hold its shape. It is also the least expensive, and easiest to install.

I agree wid Larry...the True-Flex style covers are much easier to work with than 'glass, and won't crack if you do have a minor boo-boo. The original style urethane covers are the most forgiving, as far as fitting them to the car, but they do have a durability issue. If you're not going full resto on the car, go with the True-Flex....you'll be vewy happy with it.

In the process of re-doing both on a '74. Urethane front, Flex-fit or True-flex on the rear. I agree with the other posts that unless you are having the car judged, the Flexible Fiberglas are easier to work with.
