This is NOT the urethane bumper to body misalignment but the fiberglass hood surround to the hood fitment, correct? Is it just an issue of the hood edge being higher than the surround? Or is there a noticeable problem in the fiberglass? I notice in the pic you posted in the other thread that the hood appears a little low at the fender bulges for the wheel openings. This can be raised up by installing the rubber bumpers on the drip rail under the hood. Raising the hood there could lower it at the very front when it flexes. There is also a support rod that goes down to the lower radiator support. Make sure it's there and not bent. I really can't see needing any filler unless there's damage of some sort. Is it noticeably something wrong with the surround or just a matter of misalignment? Mike
The front panel being the fiberglass or the bumper? A slight build with any light body filler can straighten the panel. The plastic bumper is not going to agree with any filler. It flexes and the filler will crack and come out. If the bumper is the problem you need to live with it, or replace it. If you decide to replace it you can go with a soft replacement, like the original, or a fiberglass replacement. The fiberglass ones look good, but a slight tap will crack it when the soft one will absorb the impact (small ones only).
