Hey,
I've been thinking about getting glass tops for my 75 for a while(neighbor has them on his, pretty cool stuff) and I was wondering if anyone has them or could at least point me in the right direction to finding some that would be a good fit on my 75. I found this on E-bay which claims to be a good fit, but I'm not sure if its a good idea or not, advice/opinions are welcomed =)

Jeff in my club has the ASTRO TOP on his 74 and he really likes it. Fit is not perfect, rises up in the back just a tad, but not really all that bad.

Personally, I'd be scared going with a one-piece top.
It's not what the car was designed for, so you'd probably be getting yourself into trouble.
See if you can find a set of 2-Tops, that should serve you well! I have a set of glass tops that I am about the change the weatherstripping on. Currently they leak and has major wind noise, but hopefully the weatherstripping with fix that.
Which bring up a good point, if you do look at a set of used tops, check the condition of the weatherstripping. Because if you're gonna have to replace it, the cost of the tops should be considerably less than if the weatherstrip was in good shape!

Good weather stripping on the new ones I get and avoid the single piece glass top...makes perfect sense, keep 'em comin' guys =)

If you want to find some used ones, plan on attending Corvettes at Carlisle Aug 23-25, you will definitely find some there, and if you bring your vette, you can actually see how they fit at the show.
Good Luck

Good Call On carslile, I'm Planning on being there and probably won't have the $$ to pick up any tops, but its cool to dream right? Also thinking about trying to con some C4 owner out of their Vette just so I can have a better daily driver, and then before I run that into the ground, a late model c4, and then a c5 and so on!! Worth a shot maybe, but I'm not sure how much I can sink into this car before it becomes a VERY bad idea to get rid of =)

I bought one of those one piece tops for 82. I ended up giving it to a friend (after explaining the shortcomings of it).
Hated it. It don't fit very well. The hold down mechanism is very cheezy. Leak air & water from the front & sides. Of course it didn't leak in the middle, as advertised
