Rick, I was quite thrilled watching the whole paint thing. Wipe her down 3 times, paint 3 thin coats, sand, fill, repeat. Then after all that, he shot the clear. 3-5 thin coats he said will work the best. The thing that was fun to watch was the paint can self stirring shelf going! |laugh|

Hey Dar, I know what you mean about watching the mixer, but it is really fun if you have a few brews in you or you have been smelling paint fumes all day. Wheeeeeee |confusing|

So you've seen the 6 ft long by 6 ft high shelf with all those auto stirring things going in all those cans at the same time? They look like the syrup dispensers at IHOP! lol Well, the lids do anyhow. The little beaters sure get stuck bad when the paint gets thick though. Saw the guy have to throw out 2 partial cans because it wouldn't mix at all. Goopy.

Hi Juliet, actually I didn't take any of her in the shop. I took accident photos and have looked at them quite enough thank you! Steve told me not to take photos of her in the shop. :) He never has taken them of cars he's had in the shop, he says it's too hard to look at them later and it gets to you. So, I'll be taking TONS when she's done, bet on that girl! Thanks for asking about her too, you're always so nice! :)

Darla, the one thing that i would advise you to do is take everything out of the inside, ex. T-Top bags, cd's and everything else. When I got my car back two weeks ago, the insides had alot of dust and I spent the entire next day cleaning the insides. Not that I minded working on my car but it was 92 degrees and i had no shade!!!!!! |thumb|

Too late for that, but I did leave my dash cover, seat covers, deck mat and foot buckets in her so that should help out some. They've been detailing now for 2 days, so that should be enough I would think. Don't take me that long to detail before a show...but then I keep her clean too. I'll find out tomorrow when I pick her up.... about 2 my time! I can't wait! I'm sure I won't sleep that much tonight, that and this dang brace and it's still warm here at night, like mid 60's. Getting tired of the heat already! |cheers| |toungecool| |thumb| |wavey| |bouncy|
