Vette(s): 1965-327 coupe, 1968-small block coupe, 1969-427, 1971-454 coupe and currently a 1976-ZZ4 coupe reborn again,and hotter than ever.. Add a 1996 CE LT-4 for backup
OK Gang I need your help! The last thing to do after the body buffing is to complete the install of the light bulbs and test operation of the lights, OOPS.. The lights go up when I push in on the switch? Go down when I pull on the switch? I have something backwards. This is a vacuum problem, right? Since I replaced the engine and the vacuum from the engine goes to some connectors, do I have one connected wrong? Which one should I change? Could the gentleman from the Great state of Texas come to my aid? Joel? Help..Terry

Oh, NOW you wanna be nice?!
What did you DO?
The vac. from the engine only comes from one source, so that's not the problem. You may have the vac. lines crossed at the headlight switch, or, more likely, at the vac. relay valves, under the front of the nose. Look in front of where the hood is, and you'll see the two vac. realy valves, bolted to the top of the nose. There are three vac. lines on each valve. Swap the top and bottom hoses on each valve, and see what happens.
