Sorry, I seem to be hogging this area of the forums lately.  I'm having a hard time locating a new headlamp header.  Mine did separate from the body.  No rivets just attached with bonding agent.  Any ideas where to track one down and what I should use to rebond, let me know.

I've contacted Ecklers and CC and they haven't responded.

Hey Dave,
I replaced the 81's header in 2007. It actually fell off.
Bought new from Eckler's for $75.99, Part # 26210
I sanded the underbody where the old header was originally bonded.
It wasn't too much work using course sandpaper especially on the big globs.
I gently sanded the flanges on the header.
Did some research and bought Lord - Fusor Adhesion Prep cleaner. $15.71,
Fusor 127/T24 EZ Plastic structural installation adhesive, slow set $45.18.
Also bought the Lord - Fusor special dispensor gun $41.95 for the Lord- Fusor adhesive.
PM me if you want to borrow. Cheap rates apply! Big smile

Jeff, I just might take you up on that!

Funny, Ecklers wrote me back and said they didn't have the part.  Must have been my description.  Boy those chemicals are pricey, I'll think I'll just try a Bubba and use Elmers!Wacko  I'm not going to fix this little problem until I get back from Carlisle and the Caravan, maybe pick parts up there.  Plus, who knows what else I'll find once I get get things broken down(I sense a headlight rebuild).
