Trying to get ready for paint and notice the  Headlight housing is rubbing on right side on the passenger side. Do not see any method of adjustment in assembly manual. Also could come a little higher when closed.
Is there a way to move? Really seems solid when open.
1978 model.

Thanks,
Bick

bick333, ajustments on your headlight for left and right movement is located on the pivot pins on each side of the headlight housing. There is a small alan head screw in the pivot bushing you have to losen on each side. After you do this side the hosing left or right untill its center, then retighen. Up and down adjustments are done by turning the ajustment screw underneath the housing where all those springs are. Ajust it until the surface of the headlight is flush with the front edge of the car body. This is how I did mine when I had to change a housing out. Best way I know unless someone has better way?

Thanks, Do I have to remove the fiberglas housing under the lights to get to the allen screws or work from bottom of the car? In open position or closed?
Appreciate the lead!!

Bick, yes they have to come off there are four screws two on the side and two in the top. Just be carful if you lights are too low they will bind coming out and breakCry.  If they are use the ajustment screw down below and between the springs and ajust them up. While you have the housings off its a good time to ajust your head lights. Its not a professional way of doing it but, have the car facing a wall or large carboard flat box and ajust the headlights by slowly turning the screws around the headlight till they match or where you want them. Not a service station job but pretty darn close. Hope this helps, thanks.

Thanks much.
Evidently you have been there on your 75.
Appreciate the time to post. Another good idea to adjust the lights as one deffinitely out of alignment on highbeam!
Which one you bringing to Carlisle?
