Well, This seamed kinda strange, but, fired up the vette to go get a MA inspection sticker....halfway to service station I noticed that my drivers side headlight popped up. It was definatly down when I backed it into the garage a couple weeks ago, and when I let it idle it was still down...just popped up as I was driving, and the switch was off. I turned the lights on and off a couple times and the drivers side light still stays up (light is off though). I noticed in the past a couple times it closed a little slower than the passenger side, and sometimes goosing the throttle seamed to help get it closed. Do I have a common problem, or something WEIRD? Thanks for the help!!

You probably have a vacuum leak. Check all of the vacuum lines to the lights, and check the seals at the headlight actuator pot, as well as the vacuum control switch.
very common problem.

There is a decent headlight vacuum diagram there.
The headlight relay(s) might be a place to start.

Thanks Guys, just reached under and touched the linkage and the head light camer right down, kinda sounded like there was vaccum in there working so I may try lubing up the linkage...looks awfully dry so maybe thats all it needs!

possibly actuator seal has a pin hole in it. That's the way mine started before it quit altogether. I could just tug up on the lid and it would go down but finally just would'nt come up at all unless I helped it.
