Just finished the painting of my 69 and have installed the chrome fender louvers. The last one is now painted the same color as the rest of the car. Is that the way they should be or should I paint the inside black to simulate the other three that are open? |saluteflag|

There should be four(4)louver trim molding pieces option code TJ2. They should be painted silver and chrome edged. What this did was make the the rearmost black painted fake appear more convincing. Hope this helps |blinkyeyes|

So the rear one should be painted black and NOT match the color of the car? |thumb|

No, it should match the car.

I know the insert itself is chrome and grey. What I'm not sure about is the fake part behind that chrome piece in the 4th (rearmost) slot. After painting the car it is burgundy but it looks funny. Should that part be painted black? |headscratch|
