With the hood open, put some 2x4 blocks on the fender lip, let the hood down, and put some sand bags on the hood by the windershield, and let bake in the sun for a few days......
Sounds stoopid, don't it? But it's been known to work. The hoods on these cars never really fit perfect, whether new, or aftermarket. The hoods tend to move out of shape over time, and they just warp. Mine does the same thing...it sticks up about 2" at the rear, and nothing I have done will "fix" it...it's just the way it is...warped. I tried adjusting the latches down, in order to pull the hood down when latched. All that did was make the hood pop open while driving, since the latches would never fully engage like that. I have just accepted it. But...my earlier suggestion HAS been done on other cars, successfully. It's not a real fix, but it do work, if ya just gotta get it "fixed"....
