Bump.
I've got a driver's door glass from a 1975, but until I get my restoration finished(and started) I'd like to hang on to it. Hopefully someone can give guidance as to what your year options are.

I do not have a parts interchage manuel BUT I have installed glass out of a 78 and out of a 70 in the doors of my 76...
So I would guess that the door glass is the same from 68 thru 82.... Not going to bet much on it ..but a call to a glass shop that handles auto glass should get you your answers...

1980 to 1982 door glass is thinner than previous years. But is the same otherwise.
Engineers were looking to shave weight off these cars anyway possible for the 1980 vette.
Little trivia here: The 1980 vette was about 250lbs lighter than the 1979's.

Thank you guys for the imput, I had tried contacting a few (5) window shops, or Corvette shops, with the same answer: Hey, i can sell you exactly what you need!! but no avail to what years are interchangeable. I did order the book (pick it up in 2 weeks), that tells all the parts that are interchangeable. (I can finally contribute something concrete to the group). Then i will know for sure. At least even then, i know that i will avoid the 80-82 (thanks Sarge!
) So, for now, i just wait. Funny how long these projects can take, isnt it?
