Vette(s): 69 Conv #'s match 427, TKO-600/.64, 3.36HD-Posi, HT, T/T, PS, PB, PW, SP, Leather, Comp XE264HR & Roller Rockers & Lifters, Air-Gap RPM intake, Holley St Av 770 VS, MSD 6AL+Dist+Blaster SS, K&N, Jet-Hot Hooker Side-Pipes, Steeroids, Al Rad, Spal Fans
if they both failed at once..
I would look at the actuator valves first.
a simultaneous failure might be a dry rotted vacuum line.
there is quite a bit of vacuum and it makes some wierd trips through the car..
but if you start at the headlight actuators with a vacuum pump/gauge and test each component youll find the leak.
a couple of vacuum plugs and some "t"s make this process much easier.

Vette(s): 1971 T-top. I just had car shipped from my parents house in florida where it has sat for over 12 years..It is going to be a long project!
speaking of lights, I need to fix mine as well and not to long ago someone on this site wrote an article for a mag. on how to convert to ele. Does anyone remember what month the article was printed...and has anyone done the conversion...it seems it would be just as costly to replace/fix ole ones as to convert???

Anything, but Stock and more mods to come!
SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
Use this to trace your vacuum lines to ensure they are all hooked up. Get your self a vacuum pump or get one on a loan a tool program and checy to make sure the actuator are all working and holding and releasing vacuum correctly.
