Earlier today, I removed the pillar trims and noticed the following stamp on the back (both pillars have identical stamps).

As far as I know; they are original and the car was originally a California car (I think...)

The stamping seems to read "Made In Canada C5" then "7 74" and then "Uniroyal".

I can't find any reference of this on the web or in my restoration guide.  Is this original or a repro?

Steph.

I'd guess original based in the date, assuming that translates to July 1974...

"See the USA, in your Chevrolet"....
Gm used and still uses suppliers from all over the world. "Made In Canadia" simply means the part was made in Canadia. At least it wasn't "Made in Taiwan".
The date stamp on it proves it is the factory installed panel. Uniroyal would be the manufacturer of the part.
Mine have the same stamps, with a different date.

Nice!  So that makes this part exactly my age.

And I guess there's a little bit of Canadian in everyone of us...  I heard the gene that makes you like beer is Canadian...
