Pulled from the swamps of Miami!
Its a driver and back on the road!
I have a question on the driver mirror removal, what is the best way to remove and then re- thread and weave the control back through the door outlet?
I was thinking attaching a cord etc to. The end if the control as I pull it out then reattach when I go to pull it back through the outlet? Anyone do this lately?

You answered your own question!

You may have to manipulate the cable around a few things as it goes back in, but you have the right idea.

I was thinking more along the lines of hitting it with a baseball bat then calling the insurance company but your idea works too.
