Can you use weather stripping from two different companies on you car.I know this sounds silly, but you never know.Kids got me the weather stripping for my hard top from Ecker's,but I already had the doors from corvette central.

Rick that's a great question...my only concern would be that you have a convertible..the seals that go in between the top and the door...it should be on the door seal..who you got it from shouldn't matter all that much since they buy it from the same place and re box it anyhow..maybe contact them and ask...it's a small world out there for these year car parts and I'm sure they all know where each other get parts from..especially parts like these that only fit a few years of cars..

Ya...I don't see why ya couldn't mix/match like that. Should be fine.

I would think the hardtop would be a separate issue altogether, anyway, since many convertables didn't have one. I don't think I would use different ones on the doors from one side to the other, but who knows. As Rich said, they may have been made in the same factory!
