Well my new hood arrived at the body shop yesterday. So today I went down to check it out and set up a tentive date to begin the work. We are going to add in some ghost flames on the front end and tie 'em into the side ones. I can't wait!

Here is a pic of it before the sanders and spray guns get to it.
I will try to update as progress happens til it's done.

Apparently, the "Ghost Flames" work better than you thought!

Darryl, it looks like you only have a "link" to the photo you have stored on your computer. (file:///C:/DOCUME~1/DARRYL~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/New%20paint%20job%20001.jpg) It isn't loaded on the web-site.
You can upload the pic directly into the post if you want, as long as it's not too large. Just click on the
button at the top of the post box, and follow the yellow brick road...
What Joel said - the pic needs to be uploaded from your PC to an internet host (like your PFF here on C3VR).
Wooo acronyms! This is even better (we NASA folk love acronyms): The jpg must be delivered via http on a tcp/ip link to the PFF (or $HOME_DIR) of $USER on C3VR. Can you tell the AC is not working in my office and it's 84 degrees?? Sorry for the disruption....

Darryl -- I was checking out the specs on your ride. Pretty darn impressive.
Did YOU really manage to push 153 MPH out of that SBC? Or is it 'theoretical??' Inquiring minds wanna know.

Paul, as soon as I get this pic thing uploaded I'll get it posted asap. This thing frustrates me. I need to hire myself a computer geek.
Mike, thanks for the compliment. We did 153 mph on the dyno rollers. I've had the car up to 124 mph. Recorded via GPS. Scary part was it was still pulling hard but I was running out of road. It still had plenty of rev's til it would hit the 6000 rpm mark. I would never take the car to that limit. That thing is like a wingless airplane.
