If yer changin', go with glass.  My nose and tail are now glass instead of wavy vinyl.  Makes all the diff in the world!

I went with the True-flex Fiberglass bumper. Someday when I repaint the car I will glass it in to get rid of the seem. Even if I do bump it the future, fiberglass can be repaired easier then the urathane.

Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
I have a ding on the front of my 74.  Right on the tip of the bumper.  Rest of the bumper is perfect.   Too bad they don't make a "kit", just repairing "the tip" alone.  You know, something that would like "snap over" and you would paint to match.

Yea, I know....I need a "curb feeler" up there too.  Or a flag.  Or better yet, a piece of vertical steel pipe...LOL
