Vette(s): 1973 Orange Metallic Coupe (orig owner), L82, 4 spd (WR), PS, (A/C & PW (I installed from wrecked 73)), leather, AM/FM Stereo, ran with '65 FI unit earlier & will again some day. 2023 Accelerate Yellow HTC Stingray
A piece of advice that everyone gave me before I painted mine was to strip the old paint off. Well I didn't and it was a big mistake as the old paint made itself known after about 5 years. It's more work but something you can do yourself and it will certainly prolong the new paint's life.

Vette(s): 1975 Corvette Stingray. Saddle brown, 350 v8 with a hotter cam shaft.
Yea I am really not planning on driving the car every day. I have a ford for that. The only thing I really want to do is to smoke a certin little 80 something mustang that was always trying to race me when the vette was sick. Now I can't seem to find him. Maby he is scard.... |smokin| As for the paint I am going to go with a professional here in town. I saw the job that he did on another vette and it was pretty good. I will have to post a pic when its done. |biggrin| Thanks for the clickable link. I was in a hurry and did not have time to figure out how to do it.
