Thanks Tux.  I'm not sure if the original spoiler is fiberglass or another material.  I really don't want an aftermarket piece to go with the rest of the original spoiler.  I have seen each piece separetly on eBay before.
OEM is Urethane $200.00 new from MAM. stock number 601-095 plus 10% discount and free shipping right now. (complete spoiler)

and then you have the Wilcox Spoiler on EBAY for $27.00 plus shipping. Tuxblacray2008-09-14 07:34:45

Thanks Larry Thumbs%20Up  The Wilcox spolier is not the right spoiler, thats just the little spoiler to deflect air up into the radiator I believe.

If I can't find the one piece on eBay I may have to buy the complete spoiler from MAM.

Your right Mark that is the stock piece that is removed to put on the pacer style. If I would have looked at it closer I would have seen that.....DUH.....sorry!

Another thought I had was to a a gal on EBAY called the PARTZLADI. She buys up shelf stock from delerships and sells at a discount. She is out of Florida.

And to check our forum suppliers like Larry.

The 79 "pace car" spoiler is the same as the 78 EXCEPT for the exposed mounting screw at the top of the fender piece.
I've seen both on ebay, the 79 with the screw hole and the 78 without the fastener at the very top end.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Not fiberglass, but the urethane.  I not sure I have ever seen one in fiberglass.   I think that would get damaged too easily in the position relative to the road.

I put the fiberglass nose and tail on mine.  It is much stiffer and you definitely have to watch the curbs, etc.

Fiberglass is a much less forgiving CATapult than the urethane.

I guess I'm going to keep an eye out on ebay for a urathane replacement piece.  Besides the show season is about over here in the NW and I have all winter (about 9 months) to get it fixed.

Thanks Tux for the recommendations, I'll check them out also.
